Acquisition Support Specialist

The Acquisition Support Specialist will support procurement and contract management activities for technology initiatives. The role involves developing solicitation documents, conducting market analysis, and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to align acquisition strategies with organizational and program goals.

Responsibilities:

• Draft solicitation documents, contract amendments, and procurement deliverables.
• Lead evaluation and award processes ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Conduct market research and cost analysis to support procurement strategies.
• Evaluate vendor capabilities and market trends.
• Collaborate with business leads, project managers, and leadership on contract activities.
• Support development of acquisition planning documents.
• Contribute to planning and execution of technology initiatives.
• Support post-award contract administration and ensure deliverables are met.
• Assist in assessing technology needs and developing strategic plans.
• Align procurement efforts with program goals and technology advancements.

Experience:

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.

Qualification And Education:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.

Certification:

• NCCM certification preferred.
• CPCM certification preferred.
