Technical Project Manager

Manage one or more independent projects from startup to closeout Support project implementations and ensure customer satisfaction Apply Agile project management techniques and processes Hold project team members accountable for deliverables and commitments Monitor project metrics and use them in project discussions Work with Portfolio leadership to address dynamic situations and ambiguity Collaborate with Technical Leads on Release and Sprint Planning and brainstorming Lead teams toward resolution of situations and challenges Provide direction and day-to-day management of project teams Communicate transparently through status reporting and manage senior PMO leaders’ expectations Ensure team member commitment toward project objectives Propose alternative solutions and approaches to address challenges Identify project challenges and risks and proactively seek resolution Apply risk management strategies Prepare project and status presentations for small audiences Requirements Minimum 4-year degree or equivalent experience; technical or business background preferred Minimum 5-year work experience in a team setting Willingness to continue working in a team setting Basic understanding of tooling such as Jira and Planview Very proficient in MS Office, including Excel and MS Word Ability to learn and utilize project tooling Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills Scaled Agile or Scrum Master experience/certifications preferred Project budget management experience preferred Experience and understanding of P&C insurance is a big plus Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Agile project management, risk management strategies, and effective communication to lead project teams toward successful outcomes.
