Medicare Sales Agent

Location: Chapin, SC (In-Pharmacy Setting) Company: McHugh Insurance Consultants Role Summary We are launching a Medicare advisory program within a network of pharmacy locations, starting with a pilot site in Chapin, SC. This role is ideal for an experienced Medicare agent who wants a more structured, referral-based environment rather than relying solely on self-generated leads. You will meet with clients in person, review Medicare coverage options, and guide them through plan selection and enrollment. This position offers consistent in-store presence, built-in referral opportunities, and the ability to grow within a developing program. What Success Looks Like Build trust with pharmacy customers and staff Consistently convert referrals into enrolled clients Maintain compliant and accurate enrollment practices Establish a strong presence within the store and become a go-to resource for Medicare questions Contribute to a repeatable model that can be expanded across multiple locations How This Role Fits Into the Organization This position is part of a new insurance division within McHugh Pharmacy Group. The Chapin location serves as the pilot for a larger rollout across multiple pharmacies. Agents who perform well will have opportunities to grow with the program as it expands. Responsibilities Meet with Medicare-eligible clients in a pharmacy setting Conduct needs assessments and review plan options Complete enrollments using approved systems and processes Follow all CMS compliance requirements, including Scope of Appointment Maintain accurate and timely documentation Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff to support referral flow Represent the organization professionally in all client interactions Qualifications Active Life & Health insurance license Medicare Advantage and Part D sales experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working with senior clients in a face-to-face setting Ability to follow structured processes and maintain compliance standards Self-motivated with a professional, team-oriented mindset Preferred AHIP certification (current or willing to obtain) Experience with Sunfire or similar enrollment platforms Existing knowledge of Medicare plans and carriers #J-18808-Ljbffr McHugh Pharmacy Group
