About the Position

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Patient ratio of 1:1. Includes 36 hours of orientation.

• Join a state-of-the-art Level IV Maternity Center supporting approximately 5,500 births annually, from routine deliveries to complex, high-risk pregnancies
• Work in a modern 26-story hospital facility featuring private birthing suites, wireless fetal monitoring, and hydrotherapy options
• Access to maternal-fetal medicine specialists and dedicated obstetric emergency resources
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Opportunity to care for diverse patient populations including neonates, adolescents, and adults in a high-volume environment with approximately 450 deliveries per month
• Float opportunities to antepartum and other units within the organization as needed

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio state license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• NCC C-EFM certification acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced
• Epic charting system experience required
• IV-start skills required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
• Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately upon contract signing
