Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting within a 328-bed acute care hospital
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and non-emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes
• Uphold patient safety standards and contribute to a culture of quality, compassionate care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Louisiana
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required prior to submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or Level II/III trauma emergency department
• Strong triage assessment and critical thinking skills in emergent patient scenarios
• Familiarity with Joint Commission accreditation standards and compliance requirements
