Certified Medical Assistant

To support a growing telemedicine practice, the remote Patient Care Coordinator will manage patient care team communications, coordinate scheduling and benefits, and assist with medical records and prescription fulfillment. Key responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact between patients and their care team, ensuring effective communication and engagement Facilitate the collection and management of medical records and assist with prescription-related tasks, including prior authorizations Guide new patients through their weight loss journey and address inquiries regarding the program, billing, and insurance coverage Required qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification required At least two years of experience in a fast-paced primary care, obesity medicine, or endocrinology practice Familiarity with prescription prior authorization processes is a plus Proficient in computer skills, including platforms like Slack and Google Workspace Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
