Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), NICU

City/State: Bismarck, North Dakota

Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, every other weekend, nights, first to float

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the NICU provides care to neonates requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. The role involves working in a Level III NICU unit with a centralized RN station, caring for patients with various conditions such as RDS, prematurity, and hypoglycemia.

Responsibilities:

Provide care for neonates in a Level III NICU setting.
Attain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2-3 or 4 for stable patients.
Attend deliveries and assist with APGAR scoring for neonates under 36 weeks.
Titrate drips including antibiotics, multivitamins, and surfactant.

Requirements:

2 years of NICU experience, preferably in Level 3-4 settings.
Ability to titrate drips as required.
Current BLS and NRP certifications.
