Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will be part of a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first and delivers with integrity and teamwork every day.

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, assisting with access control, visitor interactions, and reporting unusual activity in accordance with post orders.
• Support a professional environment by following Allied Universal standards, remaining attentive to client needs, and completing assigned reports and other security-related duties as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to comply with hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and/or around a hospital morgue environment.
• Must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when required by the job.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
