Responsibilities Assist in-house counsel in drafting of legal documents, including but not limited to, affidavits, corporate resolutions, subpoena responses, position statements; Assist in-house counsel in management of litigation matters, including gathering and examining documents and exhibits relevant to pending litigations and investigations; Perform legal research and analyze legal opinions to determine the applicability of statutes, case law, and rules and regulations to organizational matters; Review documents for compliance with procedural requirements; Review, ensure and maintain confidentiality of privileged information and materials provided or disclosed in the course of work; Maintain legal files, including corporate documents for organizational entities; Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Requirements Bachelors Degree -or- Associates Degree in paralegal studies from an accredited school of paralegal training. Experience Requirements Two years in a legal office environment preferred. Compensation Statement The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $30.68 - $44.71 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
