Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center (SAMC) is seeking an Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join our collaborative, patient-focused cardiovascular program serving northeastern North Carolina. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology with strong team support and a sustainable call schedule.

Position Highlights:

• Required Procedures: Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) imaging
• Weekly Schedule: 34 days inpatient rounding (7:00 AM 5:00 PM) with APP support, 12 days outpatient clinic (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
• Clinic Volume: Average of 20 patients per day
• Call Schedule: 1:4 call rotation
• Leverage advanced AI tools like Cleerly and DASI to enhance cardiac diagnostics and decision-making, while Dragon Copilot streamlines inpatient and outpatient chartinghelping clinicians work smarter, faster, and more accurately

Requirements:

• BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine
• Experience with Nuclear Stress Testing
• Experience with NIV and echocardiography
