Creates and performs software coding. Provides guidance and training for analysts and programmers. Creates and enforces software quality standards. Implements and deploys information systems. Evaluates vendor-supplied applications and deploys and integrates vendor-supplied software. Generates suggestions for process and product improvements. Communicates status of assigned work to management and follows practices and procedures covered by precedents, standards, or policies. Develops an awareness of systems and operating area interrelationships. Ensures the efficient development of optimal information systems through a variety of duties, including management of tasks within schedule and budgetary constraints, coordination of development and implementation efforts across disciplines, generation and presentation of users’ training material or development plans, and expansion of knowledge applicable to technical platforms and applications.
