Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Wirer A to assemble, wire, and test complex electronic assemblies in a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong knowledge of electronic wiring, soldering, blueprint interpretation, and quality workmanship while working with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics manufacturing and be comfortable assembling and wiring intricate electronic components according to engineering specifications.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of wiring experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of basic electronic theory and the ability to apply it during assembly and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, sketches, and assembly instructions.
• Strong soldering and electronic assembly skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire complex electronic assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Perform wiring, soldering, and assembly using engineering drawings, schematics, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Identify electrical components using standard color codes.
• Operate assembly equipment and hand tools, including:
• • Soldering irons
  • Wire strippers
  • Cutters
  • Pliers
  • Bench drill press
  • Other electronic assembly tools
• Perform continuity testing to verify wiring accuracy and product quality.
• Maintain soldering and inspection certifications in accordance with company workmanship standards.
• Incorporate engineering changes into final assemblies and update wiring documentation as required.
• Assist in compiling parts lists and supporting assembly documentation.
• Recommend wiring layout improvements with approval from the Development Engineer.
• Follow quality standards, manufacturing procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure timely completion of work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
