Job Summary:

The IVR Tech (Invasive Radiological Technologist) is responsible for performing invasive radiological procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires technical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with medical staff.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate complex radiological equipment to perform invasive procedures safely and accurately.
  
  
• 
  Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and ensuring proper positioning.
  
  
• 
  Maintain sterile technique and monitor patient vitals throughout procedures.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures, patient information, and equipment settings following hospital protocols.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all safety, compliance, and accreditation standards related to radiological procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  ARRT certification required, with current valid licensure.
  
  
• 
  Valid Florida license or compact license required for MRI Technicians.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of experience in invasive radiological procedures.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS, with ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications from the American Heart Association preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work on-call shifts, including weekends, with flexible schedule availability.
  
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills.
