Have a dedicated office and the autonomy to lead as the plant’s financial expert. Key Responsibilities for the Controller: Own inventory controls, reporting, and financial accuracy across the plant. Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and ongoing financial planning activities. Perform manufacturing cost variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve performance. Manage month-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. Monitor overhead spending, capital plans, and overall plant financial performance. Direct and develop finance staff while supporting plant and corporate objectives. Qualifications for the Controller: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Manufacturing experience is required. 3–5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience. At least 2 years of accounting leadership or supervisory experience. Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, inventory, and manufacturing cost accounting. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
