We're looking for a dependable Activities Bus Driver to safely transport students to athletic events, field trips and other school activities. This is an excellent opportunity for retirees, parents or anyone looking to earn extra income with a schedule that varies based on school activities.

What You'll Do

Safely transport students to and from athletic events, field trips and other school activities
Perform required pre-trip inspections and ensure buses are ready for each trip
Walk through the bus after every route to ensure no students remain onboard
Create a safe, positive environment for students during transportation
Follow assigned routes and schedules
Transport students with special needs when needed
Report maintenance concerns or vehicle issues
Help keep buses clean and ready for the next trip
Follow all transportation safety regulations and district policies

What We're Looking For

Someone who enjoys working with kids and values their safety
Clean driving record
CDL with appropriate endorsements or the ability to obtain one
Ability to pass a physical exam and behind-the-wheel driving test
Dependable, professional, and safety-minded
Strong judgment and the ability to maintain appropriate student behavior
Availability to work on-call during the day, evenings and weekends as school activities are scheduled

Schedule

On-call, part-time position
Approximately 10 months per year
Flexible hours based on school activity schedules
Daytime, evening and weekend opportunities

Pay

$19.93-$20.83 per hour
