Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) currently available in a hospital setting near Austin, Texas. This role involves working in a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center, providing critical care for a diverse patient population, including those requiring stroke and STEMI interventions. The position supports a rotating night shift schedule with a focus on delivering high-quality emergency care in a busy, high-acuity environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state, degree in nursing (associate or bachelors), BLS certification, and 0+ years of emergency nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma or stroke care, ENA certification, or additional certifications such as ACLS and PALS.
• Additional Information: The hospital features 29 ED beds, including surge capacity, dedicated trauma and vertical care rooms, and a pediatric readiness designation. The ED team comprises over 120 staff members, including MDs and APPs. The environment is fast-paced and requires adaptability to high patient volumes and acuity. Compliance with SOPs, AHA guidelines, and emergency nursing best practices is expected.
