Officer salary is $93,490 - $125,117.00 per year (Including holiday compensation pay of 2.7% that all officers receive) STARTING RECRUIT SALARY $100,220.00 w/4yr deg. $97,580.00 w/2ryr deg. $95,261.00 w/o degree TOP STEP OFFICER SALARY (Step 6) $133,875.00 w/4yr deg. $130,768.00 w/2yr deg. $127,661.00 w/o degree ADDITIONAL PAY INCENTIVES: Education Incentive pay (Noted above) Shift differential pay. Overtime opportunities at 1.5x base rate, or 2x base rate on short notice. Longevity Pay ADDITIONAL NON-PAY INCENTIVES Patrol works 10.5 hours shifts. 5 on 4 off /5 on 4 off / 5 on 5 off - Average of 16 work shifts a month. Wellness/workout hour: 1 hour per shift to do whatever supports employee's personal wellness. Wellness Officer available for all employees. Physical Therapists on site (at precincts during select days of the week) free for employees Ready Rebound: Concierge Level Medical appointments for Occupational Physicians available free for Officers and their families. Officers/family can get usually an appointment with a Sports Medicine physician within a day or two. MRI's and other imaging options also available within a day or two. 40% of Officers have take-home vehicles. Issued Handgun with Optics and tactical light. Patrol rifles issued with an Optic, tactical light and sound suppressor. All uniforms and equipment issued except for boots. 2 Complete Gyms located within the precincts. 24 hour access. LEAVE 12 days of sick leave per year. Earn about 16 days of vacation your first year. #J-18808-Ljbffr
