Objective Of Position The Senior Construction Loan Administrator is responsible for coordinating, maintaining, and overseeing loan processing and documentation operations for construction loans. The role addresses operational issues to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution. Duties And Responsibilities Analyze and prepare construction draw/disbursement requests and associated forms. Upon approval, fund construction draw/disbursement requests and handle inquiries from customers, loan officers, and title companies regarding funding availability and approvals. Reconcile construction budgets to evaluate variances and estimate cost to complete; verify compliance with loan covenants; communicate findings to the Credit Administration Manager and/or Loan Officer. Review Sworn Owner and Contractor Statements, Invoices, and Lien Waivers. Engage inspecting architects for plan and cost review, conduct monthly inspections, and approve architect reports and cost reviews. Review and accept property and builder’s risk insurance, as well as general liability and workers’ compensation insurance from the contractor when necessary. Act as liaison among title companies, inspecting architects, loan officers, borrowers, attorneys, and general contractors. Support collateral monitoring functions on a backup basis. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. At least 4 years of construction loan administration experience within a financial institution. Working knowledge of construction loan concepts. Qualitative analytical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail. Strong change‑management, organizational, and planning skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Physical Demands/Work Environment The role is performed in an office setting with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. The position requires frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination for office equipment, as well as oral and auditory capacities for interpersonal and automated communication. Work‑Life Flexibility Byline Bank supports a hybrid work environment that combines remote and in‑office work. Days spent in the office vary by business needs and will be discussed during the interview process. Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $89,000 plus incentive. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), paid time off, and additional benefit programs. Compensation may also include discretionary bonuses and other benefit programs, depending on skill set, experience level, and location.
