• Valid Georgia Special Education Teacher licensure/certification ; active credential verification required upon submission.
• Demonstrated experience in school-based special education settings, particularly with students on the autism spectrum.
• Proven expertise in managing IEP implementation, maintaining thorough documentation, and collaborating with general education staff.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Dependable full-time availability, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 weekly hours.
• Commitment to on-site presence throughout the school year.

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and resource room (IRR) instruction for students with autism spectrum disorder.
• Develop and implement effective classroom routines, ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Support IEP goals, progress monitoring, and timely, detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including classroom teachers, related service providers, and families—to develop and monitor student plans.
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain open lines of communication with staff and families to support student success.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed.
