If you want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.Job SummaryThe CT Technologist (Full Time) performs advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures under the direction of a radiologist, producing high-quality diagnostic images across multiple body planes for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations. This role leverages the full capabilities of CT imaging equipment and related technologies to support accurate and timely diagnostic interpretation.The CT Technologist maintains a high standard of patient safety, comfort, and care while supporting consistent departmental operations. This position plays a critical role in optimizing patient flow, examination throughput, and operational efficiency across scheduled shifts, ensuring imaging services are delivered effectively without compromising image quality or the patient experience.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform CT imaging procedures for inpatient and outpatient populationsProduce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standardsEnsure patient safety, comfort, and appropriate care throughout all imaging proceduresOperate CT scanners and related imaging technologies effectively and safelySupport efficient patient flow and examination throughput across assigned full-time shiftsComplete accurate clinical documentation in compliance with departmental, regulatory, and accreditation requirementsMaintain compliance with licensure, certification, and continuing education requirementsMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDAssociate's Degree from an approved school of Radiologic TechnologyRegistered Technologist credential through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationARRT-CT certification required within six (6) months of hire, if applicableMust maintain active status in good standing with ARRT or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), including required continuing education and annual license renewalPreferred QualificationsCurrent Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist certification through ARRTWork Environment & ScheduleFull-time positionHospital and/or outpatient clinical imaging environmentSchedule may include weekends, holidays, or extended hours based on departmental needsEqual Opportunity EmployerGrady Health System is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
