Low Voltage Electrician

Location: Stamford, CT

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Electrician to join our team for a senior living facility project in Stamford, CT. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile commercial project with a stable pipeline of work and a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems.
• Install structured cabling, CAT5/CAT6, fiber optic cabling, and associated infrastructure.
• Install and service fire alarm, access control, CCTV, nurse call, intercom, and data/telecommunications systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.
• Perform cable routing, device installation, labeling, and system testing.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with NEC standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other trades to meet project schedules.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing low voltage systems in commercial environments.
• Experience with structured cabling, access control, CCTV, fire alarm, and data systems.
• Ability to read construction drawings and wiring schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to the Stamford job site.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
