Radiography Technologist I - Pain Management

This role involves performing imaging procedures within established standards and organizational policies. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history, scheduling, educating patients, preparing and administering contrast media or medications, monitoring patient conditions, and troubleshooting equipment issues. The technologist positions patients, captures images, analyzes results, and ensures quality control, sometimes collaborating with students. Ideal candidates possess a graduate degree from an accredited radiologic technologist program, hold ARRT registration, and are licensed as required. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is also necessary. Key skills include critical thinking, decisive judgment, adaptability in fast-paced settings, and minimal supervision.
