Remote Fractional PT CFO Real Estate (Remote)

Charles River CFO, Inc. (CRCFO) has an immediate need to add a seasoned Fractional CFO leader with deep real estate expertise to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for an experienced CFO who thrives in client-facing advisory work and enjoys stepping in when organizations have immediate, high-impact financial leadership needs. Assignments are remote, with a preference for candidates located in the New England states .

Role Overview

The Fractional CFO will provide strategic and operational financial leadership to CRCFO clients in the real estate sector. Engagements typically range from 0–30 hours per week , depending on client needs and project scope.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• CPA preferred, but not required


• Significant experience in:
  
  
  
  • Real estate development and construction/renovation
  
  
  • Acquisitions, property management, asset management, and investments
  
  
  • Commercial and multi-unit residential properties
  
  


• LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) experience strongly preferred


• Proven experience with investor reporting and direct interaction with investors


• Demonstrated leadership overseeing teams responsible for:

  • Accounts payable and receivable

• Advanced experience creating and modernizing:
