X-Ray Technologist - 13-Week Contract Position

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract position. This role involves performing various imaging procedures in a hospital setting to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of radiologic principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including fluoroscopy.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using basic EPIC charting and Sectra PACS documentation.
• Ensure radiation safety and proper handling of X-ray equipment.
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation for examinations.
• Maintain equipment and workplace safety standards.

Schedule

This position offers a Day Shift schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. There is no on-call requirement unless coverage is needed for callouts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• Active certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, and SCQRSA (R).
• Experience with C-arm equipment is preferred.
• Radiation badge required; must be provided by the agency.
