The Wellness Nurse supports resident care within the branch, ensuring that Resident’s daily medications needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains their dignity, allowing them to live their life to the fullest. FULL-TIME

PART-TIME

Part-time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for Voluntary Life, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Identity Protection, and Cyber Monitoring Benefits start on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment Prescription savings plans All employees are eligible for 401(k) with employer match Pay available daily Eligible for PTO PRN All employees are eligible for 401(k) with employer match Pay available daily Eligible for PTO Responsibilities Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to physician orders Understand and follow the Six rights of medication administration and all policies and procedures regarding medication management Understand and appropriately utilize the eMAR system for medication administration Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care Provide direct resident care; supervise resident care work of non-licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate Lead by example in demonstrating the Bickford Mission “Whatever it Takes” to all other team members on shift Qualifications Have an active license as an LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing Willing to take additional training or education as state requirements may require CPR and First Aid certifications are required Ability to handle multiple priorities Written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications About Bickford Senior Living Bickford Senior Living is a community of caregivers dedicated to enriching residents’ happiness.
