The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR, missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites. The major support areas required are IT Operations and Maintenance; Plans, Projects, and Engineering (PP&E); and National Military Command Center (NMCC). The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment.

Position Summary:

Leidos is seeking a Deputy Site Lead to join our Operations team supporting the AFNCR IT Services (AFNCRIT) program. The Deputy Site Lead will be located at Joint Base Andrews, supplementing the 744th Communications Squadron delivering critical support services to its mission partners, programs and initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary Site Operations Lead and point of contact/liaison for the 744CS Commander (CC)/Director of Operations (DO) with oversight of direct customer-facing work centers (Walk-up Help Desk Services; Desktop Support, Executive Support, Routine Requirements Mobile Support, Technical Refresh); Network Administration, Project Management, and Cyber Support Services. Support area of responsibility includes Geographically Separated Units (GSU)

• Performance management

• Approval authority for change management activities

• Overseeing the incident management process for request fulfillment activities (moves, adds, changes) and break/fix activities

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a fully adjudicated DoD Secret security clearance

• Requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional education and years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• 10+ years demonstrated information technology operations support experience

• 5+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects

• Must have a demonstrated Operations background, with focus area of expertise in director customer-facing service delivery

• Demonstrated experience with behavioral interviewing

• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make strategic business decisions

• Must have experience managing direct reports

• Must have experience supporting a Department of Air Force entity

• Demonstrated ability to interact with/brief key organizational decision-makers (i.e. VIPs)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fully adjudicated DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance

• ITIL v3 Foundations or higher Certification

• Project Management Experience

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot end user and network peripheral issues

• Ability to manipulate Active Directory relative to computer/user objects and security groups

• Help Desk Institute (HDI) technical support and/or customer service certification

Pay Range:

Pay Range $105,300.00 - $190,350.00
