Your Impact at Power Services Group

• Fabricate and restore intricate parts that keep critical equipment running.
• Calculate required dimensions and tolerances; verify with precision instruments.
• Machine to drawing requirements on manual equipment: lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders.
• Recommend procedural changes to boost efficiency and adaptability.
• Report defects or irregularities immediately to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with assembly/disassembly and general mechanical tasks as needed.
• Prioritize your workload while remaining a collaborative teammate.
• Take on additional assignments and related tasks as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Manufacturing machining experience (preferred).
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools; confidence working to tight tolerances.
• Ability to read blueprints and metric dimensions.
• Mechanical aptitude; follow detailed written instructions and procedures.
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Competence with basic math.
• Self-starter who collaborates well in a team environment.
• High integrity, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
• Reliable attendance; available for overtime when needed.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; able to sit or stand for long periods.
• 3+ years of manual machining experience preferred.
• Crane/forklift exposure is a plus; training provided.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
