Electronic Banking Assistant Manager II

The Arrow Financial Corporation is seeking dynamic, authentic individuals to join our team. We are currently looking for an experienced professional to join the Electronic Banking Team. Electronic Banking Assistant Manager II High attention to detail, operational efficiency, supervisory skills, and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills are essential for this role. About This Position The Electronic Banking Assistant Manager supervises the team, assists and supports management through project coordination, work review, and organization to achieve optimum efficiencies in time and resources. The role leads efforts to meet department and company goals, collaborates with other departments, and ensures efficiencies. Essential Job Functions Assist management in defining roles and responsibilities of team members; manage, coach, counsel team to meet department goals and performance standards. Collaborate with management to formulate and implement strategies and processes that increase efficiencies and improve customer service. Oversee daily department operations, support the strategic plan, and manage day‑to‑day operations, projects, and special assignments. Assist with the Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) program and work with internal/external auditors to support internal controls and mitigate risks. Help the Manager optimize departmental practices, collaborate with other departments, and resolve issues to achieve optimal implementation outcomes. Research, propose, and implement changes to stay current with regulatory requirements and compliance directives. Provide quality control review of designated work and ensure timely, accurate reporting. Facilitate customer escalation calls and situations to ensure resolution and satisfaction; provide call center support as needed. Qualifications Education / Certifications Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in banking. 4 years of banking experience preferred. 1 year of supervisory experience preferred. Skills / Knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and banking‑related software. Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident, professional interaction with colleagues, management, customers, and stakeholders. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with attention to detail. Proven organizational, project management, analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills. Extensive knowledge of banking rules and regulations, especially NACHA Operating Rules, OFAC, BSA/AML, and Regulation E. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with initiative and follow‑through. Physical Demands and Work Environment Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet strict deadlines with attention to detail. Proven organizational, project management, analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills. Extensive knowledge of banking rules and regulations pertaining to deposit accounts, with emphasis on Regulation E and dispute resolution. Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member; initiative and follow‑through are key.
