Independence Landscape is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as an account manager. We are a high-energy, fast-growing residential landscaping company. We are looking for the best people to help us continue to grow into an industry leader. Our focus is on building long-term relationships with our clients and providing top-notch service at all times. If you are personable, professional, and motivated, you will excel here. You’re not expected to have extensive knowledge in the green industry in order to apply! Compensation:
- Base salary PLUS commission – earn $100,000 plus annually.
- Commission paid on new sales and recurring business.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Meet with clients to prepare estimates for lawn care services, landscape and hardscape projects.
- Communicate clearly with clients from initial contact through completion of the project.
- Schedule landscape/hardscape crews and clearly communicate expectations to crew leaders; visit properties to evaluate services performed.
- Think creatively to maximize production and efficiency.
What we require:
- Strong desire to grow with the company; eagerness to learn and adapt to new methods and technologies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clean driving record; able to drive company vehicles and operate equipment.
- High school degree (college degree preferred).
- Willingness to work in person from our offices in Lorton, Va., and visit clients on-site.
- Long hours M-F and during our busy seasons, but well worth it!
What can make a candidate stand out:
- Current or past experience in landscape or lawn care industries.
- Experience in sales and/or the service industry.
- Experience supervising crews or other personnel.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
