Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care (IMC)/Telemetry night shift position requiring 1 year of IMC/Tele RN experience at a large facility.

Details

• Intermediate Care (IMC) unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Holiday coverage expected as needed to help the unit
• Floating required to 2 East Intermediate Care, 2 North Medical, 3 West Post-Surgical, and 3 North Overflow Med-Surg and Negative Air Flow units
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS in hand
• Minimum 1 year of IMC/Tele RN experience at a large, critical care facility required
• ICU and Med/Surg experience preferred
• Experience with ventilators and titration drips preferred
• New graduates will not be considered
• 2-step TB test or blood draw completed within the past 12 months required
• Hep B, Varicella, and MMR immunization records or titers completed within the past 12 months required
• TDAP vaccination required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to patients requiring intermediate cardiac and telemetry monitoring
• Orientation begins in HR before transitioning to floor orientation, occurring every Monday
