Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Butte, Montana. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical responsibilities in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, providing health education and counseling, executing delegated medical functions, and documenting clinical activities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Butte, Montana
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Montana; ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing); BLS (American Heart Association); NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); PAS (Perinatal Advanced Skills); Fetal Monitoring certification; at least 3 years of experience in a NICU setting with a level 2 designation, high flow CPAP, and Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP); proficiency with stabilization procedures
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing; additional certifications relevant to the unit or service
• Additional Information: The position involves frequent floating to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), with potential duties on Med Surg floors during low census periods. The ideal candidate will have a level 4 NICU experience on a scale of 1-5, with a minimum of 3 years on in the NICU, and good stabilization skills, including high flow CPAP, BiPAP, and NRP.
