Job Title

RN - ICU Flex Pool

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation (July 4th, then every other)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting as part of a flex pool
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact license eligibility
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and assigned holiday rotations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a flex pool or float pool capacity
• CCRN certification or pursuit of critical care certification
• Familiarity with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
