RN UNIT MANAGER | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Unit Manager for a contract leadership opportunity in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. The RN Unit Manager will oversee daily clinical operations, coordinate resident care, support nursing staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

SHIFT DETAILS

• Shift Time: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Meal Break: 30 Minutes
• Day Shift

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
• Pay Rate: $53.40 - $62.30 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
• Current BLS certification preferred
• Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
• Prior leadership, charge nurse, supervisor, or management experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
• Ability to effectively manage staff and coordinate resident care
• Commitment to quality patient care and regulatory compliance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned nursing unit
• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality patient care
• Coordinate resident care plans and interdisciplinary communication
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate clinical interventions
• Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling, and workflow management
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in quality improvement and performance management initiatives
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Promote resident safety, satisfaction, and positive clinical outcomes

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
