Make a meaningful impact in the lives of middle school students as a school nurse for the upcoming academic year. This is a contract, full-time opportunity suitable for dedicated Registered Nurses who are passionate about providing comprehensive health services in an educational environment. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 17, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week) and is based onsite within a supportive school building. This role serves the entire school population, not as a 1:1 nurse, offering variety and meaningful interactions across the student body.

What you’ll bring:

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• Licensure as a school nurse through the Department of Education
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care is strongly preferred
• Commitment to supporting the health needs of a diverse student population
• Effective communication skills to engage with staff, students, and families
• Mandatory district fingerprint clearance prior to start
• Flexibility and resilience when responding to a range of daily needs

Key responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and develop care plans for students with acute or chronic health concerns
• Dispense medication, provide first aid, and respond to medical emergencies
• Maintain accurate records and comply with confidentiality guidelines
• Advocate for student health and well-being within the school community
• Collaborate closely with educators and staff to promote health education
• Serve as a vital resource for parents and guardians on student wellness topics
