Position Overview

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Team up effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions in a timely manner
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic health record system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and technologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
