ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and expertise necessary to provide high-quality patient care in critical care settings. This position requires the ability to float between various units as needed, ensuring comprehensive patient support across different care levels.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
Float between various units, including CVTU, Tele, ICU, NPCU, MPCU, and SPCU as required.
Monitor patient vitals and manage equipment such as telemetry, arterial lines, and ventilators.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Demonstrate proficient clinical judgment and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) certification required.
BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care nursing environment is required.
Experience with telemetry, arterial lines, and ventilators is necessary.

Shift Details

This is a full-time position with 4x12 hour shifts. The shift time is from 19:00 to 07:30. Block scheduling options are available, and preferences on scheduling days can be discussed during the interview process.

Weekend Requirements

The role may require working every other weekend or every third weekend, depending on travel preferences and unit needs.
