We are seeking Manufacturing/Mechanical Technicians to support rework operations in an Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing environment.

This role will support our rework technicians with different tasks involving cleaning and preparing products to return to the factory .

The role does not require advanced repair technical skills; however, candidates should have experience with bonds/bonding , along with hands-on manufacturing, repair, assembly, or related experience.

Available Positions / Shifts

2nd Shift Rework Technician

• Schedule: 4 x 10s, Monday–Thursday
• Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
• Training: 2–3 weeks on 1st shift, with a 6:00 AM or 9:00 AM start time
• Training will depend on skill set and can be up to 4 weeks.

1st Shift Rework Technician

• Start Time: 5:00 AM
• Schedule: 4 x 10s, Monday–Thursday
• Availability to work Friday/Saturday when required
• Training will occur on the same shift.

Weekend Shift Rework Technician

• Start Time: 6:00 AM
• Schedule: 3 x 12s, Friday–Sunday
• Training will occur during 1st shift, Monday–Thursday, with a 5:00 AM start.
• Depending on skill set, training can be up to 4 weeks.

Position Description

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

• Working knowledge of electronic, optical and mechanical assemblies.
• Performs computer activities with programs provided.
• Strong attention to detail to accurately follow required rework.
• Demonstrated proficiency at documentation of repairs.
• Reports deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and obtains quality inspection when appropriate.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and follow all safety regulations.
• Supports Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvement.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
• Applies considerable English language skills to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Cultivates a culture that assures effective cross functional team work.
• Performs job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
• Consistently at work and on time.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Follow all safety measures.
• Ensure compliance with company and production department policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Experience Required

• 2 years+ related experience in a repair field.
• Computer skills required, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Soldering.

Qualifications / Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Soldering experience

Additional Important Requirement

This role will support our rework technicians in different tasks of cleaning and preparing products to return to the factory .

Supervision Received

General supervision and instructions given for routine work, and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments.
