If you need assistance or have questions regarding the application process, please contact our recruitment helpline at View phone number on click.appcast.io or View email address on click.appcast.io.**Job Description**The Parking & Transportation Department is seeking students interested in employment in a Parking Enforcement position on campus.**Responsibilities*** Enforce parking regulations and issue warnings and citations;* Assist with general campus questions from students, staff, and visitors;* Assist motorists with basic vehicle issues (battery jump, locked out of vehicle, etc.);* Monitor bike racks and issue warnings when necessary; and* Work large events including football games.**Required Qualifications*** Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno* Candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skillsA valid Class “C” driver’s license or higher operator’s license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment. The successful candidates must complete the Defensive Driving course shortly after hire.Driving carts on busy campus roads along with pedestrians is required for this position.**Physical Demands & Working Conditions*** Walking or standing to a significant degree* Pushing and/or pulling* Exerting 25 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects* Exposure to hot and cold temperatures when working outside**Schedule*** Hours: Monday – Thursday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm* During Semester: Up to 25 hours a week* During Breaks: Up to 40 hours a week\*This is subject to change based on organizational needs.**Compensation Grade** Student Level 1 $13.00/hr.**Exempt**No**Full-Time Equivalent**62.5%**Required Attachment(s)**Please note, once you submit your application the only attachment/s viewable to you will be the attachment/s to the resume/CV section of the application.
