Electro Mechanic I – Night Shift

Position Summary

The Electro Mechanic I is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment. This role supports production uptime by performing preventive maintenance and addressing equipment failures in a fast‑paced, high‑volume facility.

This is an entry to mid-level role, ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and mechanical repair.

Shift Details

• Night Shift (3rd Shift): 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM

| 12-hour continental shift (3 days one week, 4 days the following, off every other weekend; overtime may be required)

• Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed

Pay Rate

$36.34 – $39.85/hour (+$2.00/hour shift differential depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, sensors, and control panels
• Diagnose mechanical issues involving conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulics
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Support production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
• Document maintenance activities and repairs performed
• Assist senior technicians on complex repairs and installations

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of electro-mechanical or industrial maintenance experience
• Basic understanding of electrical (AC/DC) and mechanical systems
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in:
• Electrical Technology
• Mechatronics
• Industrial Maintenance
• Experience with:
• PLCs (basic exposure)
• Conveyor systems
• Automated machinery

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
• Working in industrial environments (noise, temperature variations)

Work Environment

• Manufacturing / production facility
• Exposure to moving equipment and machinery
• Required use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
