Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Process Technician, you prepare and set up injection molding machines for production runs, ensure they operate efficiently, and adjust molds and machine parameters to support consistent, high-quality output in a plastics manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare injection molding machines for scheduled production runs, including setup, calibration, and basic pre-run checks.
• Ensure machines are running efficiently throughout the shift by monitoring performance, identifying issues, and making necessary adjustments.
• Change and modify molds as needed, including adjusting temperature and other process parameters to meet production and quality requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial machinery.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Work Environment

This role is based in a hot, non-climate-controlled injection molding and plastics facility. You will work around industrial machinery and production equipment, following safety requirements such as wearing steel-toe footwear, protective eyewear, and other designated personal protective equipment. The environment is fast-paced and hands-on, with a strong focus on safety, productivity, and teamwork.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bardstown, KY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
