About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Cardiology MD in West Virginia!

We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist for a 60-day assignment, in West Virginia. The schedule involves Monday through Friday clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with 24-hour call responsibilities. During hospital call, clinic hours are adjusted to 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with full clinic days on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This role focuses on the evaluation and management of new and established patients, cardiac risk assessment, and various diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Evaluation and management of new and established patients
• Cardiac risk assessment
• Perform EKGs
• Holter monitor placements
• Pacemaker checks
• Supervision of EKGs, treadmill stress tests, and nuclear stress testing
• Perform TEEs
• Perform Cardioversions

Additional Information

• Board certified in Cardiology
• Clinic hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 24-hour call is required, with minimal night-time calls
• When on hospital call, clinic hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, with full clinic days on Tuesday and Thursday
