The opportunity

Our Finance Consulting practice is a core driver of the Americas Consulting growth agenda, with the Technology, Media & Entertainment and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors representing a significant share of the portfolio. We are seeking a Manager with deep Order-to-Cash (O2C) expertise and Media & Entertainment (M&E) sector fluency to lead the design and delivery of technology-enabled O2C transformations - from sales planning through cash application - for studios, networks, streamers, ad sales organizations, and theme park and live experience operators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end O2C workstreams across the full taxonomy: lead-to-quote, quote-to-order, order-to-invoice and invoice-to-cash, including credit and risk approval, customer master data, billing, dispute resolution, AR and collections, and cash application.
• Assess Order-to-Cash organizations, processes, and enabling technologies; develop transformation roadmaps and business cases that drive operational efficiency, enhanced governance, improved customer experience, and measurable working capital improvement.
• Design and implement target operating models for Order-to-Cash functions, including organizational structures, governance frameworks, and performance management capabilities that enable scalable, efficient, and digitally enabled revenue cycle operations.
• Own business process design deliverables - L3 and L4 process flows, key design decisions and assumptions, functional and reporting requirements, KPIs, and master and transactional data requirements.
• Facilitate design and solutioning workshops with client Global Process Owners (GPO), business unit leads, subject matter resources (SMR) and Technology stakeholders; drive to decisions and document dispositions.
• Manage day-to-day delivery: workplan, RAID log, scope, deliverable quality and engagement economics, including onshore/offshore mix and global delivery leverage.
• Translate O2C pain points into quantified value cases — revenue leakage, DSO, dispute volume, billing cycle time and working capital release.
• Coach and develop staff and seniors; contribute to proposals, Phase 0 assessments and sector thought leadership.

Sector-specific knowledge: Media & Entertainment 

• Ad sales and advertising revenue : order and campaign management across linear and digital, impression-based and audience-guarantee billing, makegoods and ADUs, pre-emptions, and reconciliation of delivered versus contracted impressions. 
• Content licensing and distribution: multi-title, multi-territory and multi-window licensing deals; avails and rights windows; milestone and installment billing; participations, residuals and royalty settlement. 
• Subscription and streaming (D2C): recurring billing, tiering and promotions, churn and dunning management including involuntary churn recovery, high-volume payment gateway and merchant settlement, and consumption/XaaS revenue models. 
• Theme parks, attractions and live venues: ticketing, annual and season passes, food and beverage, merchandise and retail POS revenue capture; third-party and travel-partner invoicing; high-volume payment reconciliation and settlement across channels. 
• Revenue recognition complexity: ASC 606 across bundled offerings, variable consideration, performance obligations in multi-element media deals, and deferred revenue for passes and prepaid inventory. 
• Ecosystem awareness: agencies, distributors, sports leagues and rights holders, publishers and games — and how each changes the customer, contract and billing model. 

Technology experience

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: 

• SAP S/4HANA (SD, FI-AR; FSCM Credit, Collections and Dispute Management) 
• SAP BRIM — Convergent Charging, Invoicing, Subscription Order Management, FI-CA 
• Salesforce, CPQ and contract lifecycle management platforms 
• Point-of-sale and ticketing platforms; tax engines such as Vertex 
• Advanced and machine-learning-based cash application 
• O2C analytics and agentic AI use cases: invoice validation, customer risk scoring, transaction matching and cash forecasting 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA a plus. 
• 6+ years of progressive experience in finance transformation, O2C process design or revenue operations; consulting experience strongly preferred. 
• Proven Media & Entertainment, TMT or high-volume consumer revenue sector experience. 
• Strong executive communication, workshop facilitation and written deliverable skills.

• The salary range for this job is:
  • New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $154,000 to $256,700
  • Bay Area California offices – $160,500 to $267,400
  • All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $128,400 to $235,300
• Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
