Radiological Technician (Rad Tech) – Full Time How You’ll Contribute Identify patients by name and birth date. Review order for clinical and demographic consistency and verify accuracy. Interview patient for clinical history, review previous procedures and document relevant history for the Radiologist. Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent for contrast if needed. Prepare patient for procedure, ensuring prep is performed if needed and checks for any artifact‑producing objects. Correctly position patient for examination to be performed. Order and perform correct examination. Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols and in a timely manner. Correctly operate radiology equipment. Administer oral and IV contrast. Perform venipuncture utilizing sterile technique (for those with the competency). Recognize and respond to emergency situations.
