Emergency Medicine APP opening in Iowa Located in Keosauqua, IA - just 78 miles from Iowa City Full-time, permanent opening Employed position Provide services in the Emergency Department (ED) Also function in a Hospitalist capacity (as needed basis only) for the Medical/Surgical Floor with physician co-management Schedule: 48 hour shifts Requirements: Experience with ED procedures including RSI, procedural sedation, fracture reduction, suture skills, splinting, arthrocentesis, and I&Ds required Experience caring for pediatric, OB/GYN, and geriatric patients in an ED setting A strong desire to provide high quality care in a rural community, be a team player, strong communicator, and have an attitude of service such that patients will have an exceptional experience in time of need Benefits: IPERS Retirement Paid Time Off Medical, dental, & vision Accident and Life Insurance Short and Long-Term Disability Family Medical and Military Leave 403(b) Plan Community: The county has many opportunities for outdoor activities, such as camping, hiking, fishing and scenic drives.
