About the Position
Description
• Lead the Emergency Department while providing high-quality patient care.
• Oversee clinical operations, quality improvement, staffing, and physician performance.
• Work closely with Envision, hospital leadership, and Montefiore Health System.
• Opportunity to help shape a growing ED team and new-build emergency department.
• Provide emergency medical care to patients.
• Lead and support physicians and APPs.
• Improve ED quality, efficiency, and patient flow.
• Monitor clinical metrics and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with nursing, hospital, and administrative leadership.
• Participate in physician recruitment and team development.
• Support teaching and residency education.
Requirements
• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Eligible for New York medical licensure.
• Emergency Medicine leadership/medical director experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills.
