Substitute Finance Personnel

Position Summary:
Bullitt County Public Schools is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Substitute Finance Personnel. This role will provide temporary support for various positions within the finance department, ensuring continuity in financial operations. The substitute must be flexible, reliable, and able to fill in for multiple finance roles, including accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform financial transactions such as processing invoices, payroll, and maintaining financial records.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports.
• Support financial compliance and adherence to school district policies.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
• Collaborate with finance team members to ensure smooth operations in the absence of regular staff.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a school district or public sector.
• Familiarity with financial management systems (experience with MUNIS is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different roles within the department.
• Must be bondable.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check and bonding requirements.
