This role requires a seasoned professional who can independently manage projects end‑to‑end and has a strong command of the decision gate process —from initial scoping and budgeting through execution, closeout, and handover, within an integrated team. The ideal candidate is a self‑directed leader with strong financial acumen, deep experience in regulated industries, and the ability to communicate fluently with other project management professionals using standard PM methodologies and terminology. *Expectation to work onsite in Whiting, IN*Key Responsibilities Project DeliveryPlan, execute, and close projects across engineering, construction, or energy transition portfoliosEnsure delivery within scope, schedule, and cost targetsPlanning & SchedulingDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, an d schedulesTrack progress and adjust plans to meet changing project needsBudget & Cost ControlManage CAPEX budgets and forecastsMonitor expenditures and ensure alignment with financial targetsStakeholder ManagementInterface with internal teams (engineering, procurement, construction) and external stakeholdersMaintain strong relationships with vendors, regulators, and partnersRisk ManagementIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risksImplement contingency plans to maintain delivery objectivesHSSE ComplianceEnsure adherence to bp’s health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) standardsPromote a strong safety culture across all project activitiesReporting & GovernanceProvide regular updates to senior leadership on project performanceMaintain project documentation and governance controls SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicableQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline5–10+ years of project management experience (energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure preferred)Demonstrated experience managing large-scale capital projectsStrong knowledge of project controls (cost, schedule, risk)Experience with tools such as ECOSYS, Primavera P6, SAP, or similar systems Preferred QualificationsPMP, APM, or similar certificationExperience in low-carbon projectsFamiliarity with contracting strategies and supply chain managementAdditional Information*On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs*Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
