Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Neenah, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse (RN) position in Neenah, WI. This role involves providing patient care on a 6th floor unit with a focus on trauma, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries. The shift is 12-hour nights, with responsibilities including monitoring post-operative neuro and ortho trauma patients, managing complex cases with specific procedures, and collaborating within a dynamic healthcare environment. Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Shift start time is 5:30 PM. Required Qualifications: WI RN License, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum 3+ years experience as an RN; minimum 2+ years Med/Surg experience; at least 1 travel assignment; charting experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) system within the last 2 years; associate degree or certificate. Preferred Qualifications: Neuro and orthopedics trauma experience, experience with trauma surgical, neuro, and ortho patients; ability to handle complex procedures such as chest tubes, PCA/epidural, CBI, and care of post-op neuro and ortho trauma surgeries. Float: Float rotation may be required throughout the facility within the skillset and to all ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius. Additional Information: The position entails working holiday shifts with rotation as needed, including holiday coverage.
