The Role :

The Supervisor, Client Operations oversees the daily execution of the Regional Center (RC) Relations team, which is responsible for securing reauthorizations before they expire, resolving authorization discrepancies with Regional Centers, and recovering funds owed. This role leads a team of coordinators and specialists, translating the broader Client Operations strategy into consistent daily execution. The Supervisor manages team priorities and performance, serves as the first point of escalation for complex Regional Center cases, and ensures established service levels, accuracy, and productivity standards are met.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of coordinators and specialists, assigning caseloads, setting priorities, monitoring throughput, and ensuring established service levels and deadlines are met.
• Serve as the first point of escalation for complex Regional Center cases, including authorization disputes, stalled reauthorizations, discrepancies, and funds recovery issues.
• Coach and develop team members through regular feedback, 1:1s, performance management, and onboarding support.
• Maintain operational reporting and dashboards for reauthorization capture, renewal timelines, discrepancy resolution, and funds recovery, using data to identify risks and direct team priorities.
• Execute and continuously improve team workflows, SOPs, escalation paths, and quality standards in partnership with the Sr. Manager.

This is a hybrid position, coming into the El Segundo office up to 3x per week.

Work Schedule: Business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Depending on the position and business needs, employees may be required to work any scheduled shift within these operating hours.

What You Bring to the Table :

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, authorization management, branch or field operations, or a related field.
• 2+ years of direct supervisory experience, including assigning work, coaching employees, and managing performance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working with Regional Centers, government payors, or managed care organizations preferred.
• Familiarity with authorization lifecycles, reauthorization timelines, reconciliation, or payor-facing dispute resolution preferred.

The expected California Pay Range for this position:

$65,000—$80,000 USD
