Job Description
Title: Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation

Schedule: Days, 8 hours

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Preferred clinical experience in a relevant setting (hospital, outpatient, rehab); new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess and interpret evaluation results to develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Administer manual exercises, therapeutic activities, and functional training, while instructing and assisting patients with therapeutic exercises and daily living skills.
- Provide hands-on treatments including massage, traction, and physical modalities.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and document patient progress, recommending modifications as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for discharge planning and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe clinical environment.

Compliance / Notes:
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain equipment.
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy through continuing education and professional development.
